Cleaning

This product should be cleaned with hot water or a mild cleaning solution.
Do not use chlorine based, corrosive or abrasive cleaners as it may result in the surface being damaged.

The following cleaning agents have been tested by Pressalit and may be used, as long as they are diluted according to the instructions on the container.

DISINFECTANTS:
CaviCide

The product must be wiped down with a soft rag wrung out in clear water immediately after cleaning, as some materials may otherwise be discolored and stained, and the surface coating may deteriorate.

DECALCIFICATION OF ALUMINUM PARTS:
Pressalit recommends that water deposits (Calcium, lime etc.) be removed from wall tracks and other aluminum parts using a solution of three parts of 30% acetic acid to seven parts tap water. When the aluminum parts have been washed down with this solution, the parts should be wiped over with a damp cloth wrung out in plain water.

INDIVO Design Guide and Questionnaire

This design guide offers valuable tips for planning your space and details on the information we need to help you get started. We custom-build each INDIVO lifting system to fit your specific space. To provide an accurate quote, please complete the questions below and attach your space's drawings. After reviewing your submission, we’ll reach out with any questions and offer our recommendations. We look forward to working with you to bring your accessible workspace dreams to life!

Please complete questions #1-9 and submit your form along with your drawings.

Name(Required)

1. Select the weight capacity of your lifting unit: 220lbs / 330 lbs.

What’s the difference?

220lb weight capacity unit has 2 lifting actuators: For countertops between 23.6” to 94.7” long

330lb weight capacity unit has 3 lifting actuators: For countertops between 55.2” and 94.7” long

*If your counter is granite or any type of stone, or has a cooktop or sink, select 330lbs.

2. What is the size of the countertop? Length (A) x Width (B)

(depth of countertop must be between 20.08” and 27.56”)

3. Will the countertop have a sink or cooktop?

Indicate the location of the sink and/or cooktop on your drawing. You must leave at least 3.54" inches from the back and side edges of the worktop to the cut-out for the sink or cooktop so it doesn’t collide with the lifting units support arms, wall frame or actuators. Make sure that there are no outlets installed below the worktop, any higher than 19.69” above the floor or on the wall above the worktop in the range it will be adjusting.

4. What travel distance/height adjustment range is required? in inches

Choose between 7.87” and 11.81"

5. Will the countertop have a fascia?

We recommend adding a fascia along the front edge and sides of your countertop. This fascia, typically made from wood or the same material as the countertop, is a vertical edge plate fitted to the underside of the worktop. It hides electrical installations and provides a mounting point for safety bars. These bars are installed on the bottom edge of the fascia to prevent the countertop from moving downward when resistance is detected.

Here are some important points:

  • You will need a fascia if you plan to adjust the lifting units using a built-in switch.
  • The fascia should have a minimum downstand of 2.76” and be between 0.63” and 1.18” thick.
  • Your kitchen worktop supplier can provide a quote for the fascia.

6. Safety Bars:

We recommend the use of safety bars. They detect an object and stop the downward movement of the countertop. These will guard against incidents leading to material damage or personal injury. Safety bars are mounted to the bottom edge of the fascia.

7. Select your option for the adjustment of the countertop:

See Installation Guide for complete switch mounting instructions.

8. Is there more than one Height Adjustable Countertop in your design?

9. Will there be two or more height-adjustable countertops next to each other?

A separate Design Guide form must be filled out for each lifting unit.
Adjacent countertops will require interconnection of safety to avoid crushing injuries.
