1. Create awareness of, and a basic understanding of new fixture mounting systems technology with emphasis on ability to save space and reduce square footage costs while adhering to ADA and federal disability guidelines.
2. Create awareness of how relocatable fixtures can enhance safety and improve quality of life for disabled or physically challenged individuals and their caregivers.
3. Create awareness and understanding of turning radius and room dimensions required to meet the needs of individuals in wheelchairs, or related equipment, with or without caregivers present.
4. Explain blocking and other structural requirements necessary to install rail- mounted systems for conventional as well as bariatric residents.
How Taught: The CES facilitator utilizes a power point presentation to provide an in-depth overview complete with illustrations, drawings, job-site and product photos.
A/V Needed: Electrical power & screen for the PowerPoint presentation. (The CES facilitator supplies the laptop)
Target Audience: Architects, specifiers, mechanical engineers, owners and other design professionals in the commercial and residential market. The ideal audience can be one on one or over 50. This program meets most experience levels with time allotted for questions and answers.
Facilitator Qualifications: All Pressalit Care CES facilitators have been trained on CES guidelines and presentation skills. In addition, they receive continuous in-depth training on accessible bathroom products, codes, installation and related accessories.
