For those who require regular assistance in the bathroom, reliability is key. When relying on specialized utilities rather than a human helper, it is essential that products do not fail. Pressalit’s VALUE series of handicapped accessible sinks, toilets and shower chairs are built to stand the test of time. VALUE is designed for everyday use, using sturdy materials resistant to damage from cleaning products, moisture, and high humidity. The VALUE wheelchair sinks, handicapped toilets and shower chairs are perfect for homes and long-term resident placement where the utilities will endure continual daily use. As with all Pressalit products, VALUE wheelchair sinks, shower chairs, and handicapped accessible toilets are easy to clean, helping to maintain a hygienic environment.

Pressalit takes care in designing their wheelchair accessible sinks, toilets and shower chairs to be ergonomic and comfortable, and VALUE is no exception. Take a look at the VALUE line and how these sturdy, hard-wearing products will benefit your space for years to come.

VALUE Functional solutions for easy living.

The VALUE series provides a pleasant and safe environment for people who need extra help with their daily routines in the bathroom, while also assisting helpers and carers.

  • All the products are made of materials which are robust and resistant to cleaning agents as well as to moisture and high humidity levels.
  • The design of the products takes account of current ergonomic and hygiene requirements while ensuring high standards of user comfort.
  • The designs are thoroughly tested and solid, and will withstand many years of daily use.

Respect and the right of the individual to a good life in spite of disability forms the cornerstone of the Pressalit philosophy, as summarized by the following words: keep living

Wash basin (Handicapped Sink) brackets, wash basins (Wheelchair Sink) and tap

The height-adjustable wheelchair sink are suitable for many situations, e.g. nursing homes and schools. The numerous adjustment options encourage users to help themselves as well as improving working conditions for helpers and carers.

The shape and size of the handicapped accessible sink ensures that both seated and standing users can use the tap and get close to the jet of water.

The tap on the wheelchair sink must be easy, comfortable and logical to use – regardless of whether you are sitting or standing.

Materials: Porcelain

The ergonomic disabled sink has rounded edges, which are comfortable to hold and rest against.

The wheelchair sink has a raised edge, preventing water from running over the back of the wash basin.

The wash basin is relatively flat, making it possible for a wheelchair user to maneuver right under it and get comfortably close to the tap.

MATRIX Curve

R2050 Wash basin (Wheelchair Sink) with overflow
R2051 Wash basin (Wheelchair Sink) without overflow

The concave front edge stabilizes standing as well as seated users. The rounded edges are also comfortable to hold and rest against.

For seated users, the design of the corners leaves space and supports the elbows in the sink, while the flat bottom allows room for the user’s legs underneath the wheelchair sink.

Tap hole: Ø 35 mm.

For placement of plumbing installations, see page 15.

Height-adjustable wash basin (Wheelchair Sink) bracket - gas

R1210000 Height-adjustable, 320 mm

Gas lift height adjustment is suitable when the height needs to be changed frequently for different users. For easy daily adjustment by carers.

Height-adjustable wash basin (Disabled Sink) bracket - manual

R1214000 Height-adjustable, 150 mm

Manual height adjustment is suitable when the height of the wash basin only needs adjusting once in a while. For adjustment by maintenance worker.

Wash basin tap

RT622 Tap with long rotatable spout

The ring-shaped operating lever is suitable for disabled users. The long rotatable spout makes it easier for seated users to reach the water as the spout can always be pushed to one side if it is in the way.

The symbols for hot and cold water are visible to both seated and standing users. Scald protection prevents unintended water temperatures above 40°C.

Integrated water-saving function for high and low flow rates. The lever is spring-loaded, which prevents splashing and using excessive water unintentionally

VA-approved (Denmark).

Support arms

The different types of support arms ensure a greater sense of security for both the independent user and the carer.

The support arms are manufactured with a Rilsan®-coated surface which is comfortable to hold, easy to clean and protects against rust.

The support arms are supplied as fixed or height-adjustable models, and can be folded away when not in use.

The ergonomic design gives a secure and comfortable grip as well as a good sense of where the support arm ends.

Materials: Rilsan®-coated steel, pressure-cast aluminium, plastic

To further increase stability, we recommend mounting Dania and Colani with institutional hinges with crossbar BV2999/BV3999, e.g. for sideways transfers from wheelchairs.

Stabilizing buffers ensure that the seat sits very securely on the toilet bowl, even with sideways pressure. The stabilizing buffers can be adjusted to be in contact with the inside or outside of the bowl, depending on its shape.

An anatomically well-designed seat which is suitable for most people. Sideways transfer is easy as the seat is relatively flat. The cover is comfortable to sit on, and when raised provides good back support.

Dania is also available in a version with an open front, which makes it suitable for using as a bidet with easy access for a hand shower.
