Create awareness of, and a basic understanding of new fixture mounting systems technology with emphasis on ability to save space and reduce square footage costs while adhering to ADA and federal disability guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>2. Create awareness of how relocatable fixtures can enhance safety and improve quality of life for disabled or physically challenged individuals and their caregivers.<\/p>\n<p>3. Create awareness and understanding of turning radius and room dimensions required to meet the needs of individuals in wheelchairs, or related equipment, with or without caregivers present.<\/p>\n<p>4. Explain blocking and other structural requirements necessary to install rail- mounted systems for conventional as well as bariatric residents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How Taught:<\/strong>\u00a0The CES facilitator utilizes a power point presentation to provide an in-depth overview complete with illustrations, drawings, job-site and product photos.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A\/V Needed:<\/strong>\u00a0Electrical power &amp; screen for the PowerPoint presentation. (The CES facilitator supplies the laptop)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Target Audience:<\/strong>\u00a0Architects, specifiers, mechanical engineers, owners and other design professionals in the commercial and residential market.
